Neoga teachers will be made aware of the district's financial situation before the community hearings next week.
At its board meeting Thursday, Neoga School Board President Tina Moore said teachers will be hearing from their principals Friday about a planned special meeting where the district's finances will be layed out and potential cuts will be explained.
"I will say that staff will be getting that financial information," she said.
The board had previously promised to let teachers and administration know about any cuts that could be made before the information is released to the public. Public hearings about the district's finances will be held at 6 p.m. on March 19 and again on March 21 in the high school gymnasium.
