The Effingham County Jail reported the following bookings.

• Effingham police arrested Johnny W. Smith, 35, Effingham, June 27 on charges of possession of over 10 grams of methamphetamine, delivery of over 10 grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked. Smith was in custody at last check.

• Effingham County deputies arrested Alan J. Logsdon, 36, Shelbyville, June 27 on a Shelby County warrant for failure to appear in court on an a violation of a probation sentence. Logsdon was transferred to Shelby County authorities.

• Effingham County deputies arrested Steven M. Moore, 26, Flora, June 27 on a Douglas County warrant for failure to appear in court on two charges of driving while license revoked and unlawful possession cannabis. Moore posted $500 and was released.

• Effingham County deputies arrested Whitney R. Howell, 29, St. Elmo, June 27 on an Effingham County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of retail theft. Howell posted $200 and was released.

• Effingham police arrested Steven C. Connor, 52, Brownstown, June 27 on a Fayette County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of possession of methamphetamine. Connor was transferred to Fayette County authorities.

• Effingham police arrested Sierra K. Blankenship, 20, Effingham, June 27 on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Blankenship was given a $5,000 recognizance bond and was released.

• Effingham County deputies arrested Anthony S. Evans, 23, Stewardson, June 27 on an Effingham County warrant for failure to appear in court on an attachment for contempt of court. Evans posted $200 and was released.

• Effingham police arrested Taylor K. Nathan, 25, Effingham, June 27 on an Effingham County warrant for driving while license suspended. Nathan was in custody at last check.

• Effingham police arrested Jacob L. Holliday, 33, Vandalia, June 28 on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device. Holliday posted $100 and a valid driver's license and was released.

• Illinois State Police arrested Richard F. Kasper III, 49, Mattoon, June 28 on a charge of driving while license suspended and a Johnson County, Indiana, warrant for failure to appear in court on a charge of felony theft. Kasper was in custody at last check.
