Neoga Days kicks off today

NEOGA — The schedule of most events is as follows:

Thursday, June 12:

• 5 p.m. — All food booths open; GUMC Methodist Men’s Fish Fry; Carnival opens; Radio station live remote; Farm Machinery Show; Beautiful Baby Voting opens at information booth; 5-10 p.m., Sideshow open.

• 6:30 p.m. — Opening Ceremony on Main Stage.

• 7 p.m. — Pageant on Main Stage.

Friday, June 13:

• 10 a.m.-5 p.m. — Quilt Show at Grace United Methodist Church

• 4:30 p.m. — Tractor drive registration and line-up, Neoga Elementary School

• 5 p.m. — Carnival opens; all food booths open; Knights of Columbus chicken dinner; sideshow (5-10 p.m.; beer garden, 5 p.m.-midnight; Farm Machinery Show; Beautiful Baby Contest voting.

• 6 p.m. — Bingo; Badminton Tourney; Maesner’s magic act in Sideshow area; Tractor Drive at Neoga Elementary School.

• 7 p.m. — Triple Play featuring Jim McBride (7-11 p.m.) in the beer garden.

• 7:30 p.m. — Variety Show on main stage

• 8 p.m. — Maesner’s magic act in the sideshow area.

Saturday, June 14

• 7-7:45 a.m. — Registration for 1 Mile Walk/Fun Run and 5K at Neoga Elementary School

• 8 a.m. — 1 Mile Walk starts, NES

• 8:15 a.m. — 5K starts, NES

• 9 a.m. to noon — Car Show, NES

• 9:30 a.m. — 3 on 3 Basketball Tourney, Neoga Middle School

• 10 a.m. — 3 on 3 Basketball Tourney, NMS

• Noon — All food booths open; Farm Machinery Show; Quilt Show, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. GUMC; Sideshow open, Beautiful Baby Contest voting

• 1 p.m. — Maesner’s magician act, Sideshow area

• 2 p.m. — Kiddie Tractor Pull in park’s pavilion

• 3 p.m. — Maesner’s magician act, Sideshow area; Parade line-up at NMS

• 4 p.m. — Parade

• 5 p.m. — Knights of Columbus BBQ dinner; carnival opens; beer garden opens (5-midnight); Beautiful Baby voting

• 6 p.m. — Aerial Storm act in Sideshow area

• 6:30 p.m. — Closing ceremony, main stage; Beautiful Baby winner named; bingo, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

• 7-11 p.m. — Jac Freeze in beer garden; Maesner’s magician act (7 p.m.) in Sideshow area

• 7:30-10:30 p.m. — Machelle Morgan, Kelsey Beard and Allie Keck, each perform on the Main Stage.

• 8 p.m. — Aerial Storm, Sideshow area.
