EFFINGHAM — Effingham’s Morgan Wilson claimed individual bragging rights, but the team honors went to Teutopolis Wednesday in a girls golf match at th Effingham Country Club.

Wilson shot a 49 for the Hearts, but Teutopolis had its top four players shoot in the 50s to claim a 226-234 victory.

Paris also competed but had only three players, not enough to count in the team standings.

Holly Dust and Haley Giles shot 50 to lead Teutopolis (8-9). Courtney White contributed a 53 for the Hearts (5-7).

Bulldog girls close with win

St. Anthony wrapped up a 15-1 regular season with a 185-201 victory over Charleston Thursday at the Charleston Country Club. Charleston also competed and finished third at 217.

The Bulldogs’ Mirahda Rohlfing was medalist witha  41. Madison Bushue and Mariah Bushue shot 47 for St. Anthony.
