Tara Stephens had an RBI triple to go along with Anni Borries' homer in the third, and the Lady Shoes banged out five hits and took advantage of three St. Anthony errors in the fourth.
St. Anthony refused to quit, however, staying alive by scoring a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth.
Makayla Walsh's fourth homer of the spring — a two-run shot — then cut T-Town's lead to 12-6 in the sixth. But Kadi Borries answered with her aforementioned blast and she finished St. Anthony off in the seventh.
The teams combined for 22 hits in an impressive offensive showcase.
"Solid hitting on both parts," St. Anthony coach Crystal Tipton said. "T-Town clearly outhit us, but our girls didn't back down against a good pitcher. That's the positive we're taking out of this.
"They had a few dingers out there that I think are still flying."
Hunter Niebrugge continued her hot hitting by going 3-for-4 for the Lady Bulldogs, and Kate Richards and Walsh had two hits apiece.
"We were one or two outs away from getting the game called (due to the 10-run rule)," Tipton said. "I'm proud of how the girls battled."
T-Town continues to roll, despite a lineup that features a number of underclassmen. The Lady Shoes' only loss was to Altamont.
"The girls have played hard," Niebrugge said. "We still haven't had that perfect ballgame yet, but we're seeing a lot of improvement from girls."
Both coaches are looking forward to making the Cross Creek Classic a tradition.
"Once we knew they were leaving the conference, I felt we needed to still have something on the line," Tipton said. "It's such a wonderful rivalry. We needed to create something to keep the rivalry elevated."
"It was a fun one," Niebrugge said. "I tip my hat to Crystal. It was her idea to do this."
