St. Anthony dominates Shelbyville
St. Anthony won the regional title on Thursday in straight sets, beating Shelbyville, 25-18 and 25-10, to advance to Tuesday's sectional semifinal against Robinson, in Newton.
The Bulldogs won the title after losing in the regional championship game last year against Pana. Haylee Mathis led the Bulldogs with 17 assists, while Rachel Schultz had 11 digs and Lauren Wendt had a team-high seven kills.
The Bulldogs (31-5) will play Robinson on Tuesday, after the Maroons beat Newton in a regional championship to advance to sectionals.

South Central clinches title in three
South Central (17-16) needed three sets to clinch a regional championship against North Clay on Thursday, with a big serving streak by Monica Young in the third set.
The two teams were tied, 16-16, until Young stepped up to serve seven straight points for the Cougars to lift them to a 23-16 lead that they finished with a 25-19 win.
Maria Brasel had a team-high 14 kills, to go along with eight assists, as the Cougars won the first set, 25-21, and the third set. North Clay won the second set, 25-18, to keep its season alive temporarily.
South Central (17-16) advances to the Lebanon Regional to play Cisne on Tuesday.
North Clay's season ends with the loss. Statistics from North Clay were not made available as of press time.

Newton loses to Robinson
The Newton Eagles' season is over after a loss to Robinson on Thursday, in which the Maroons clinched their program's first regional championship.
The Eagles (24-13) won the middle of three sets to keep their season alive, but Robinson won the first set, 25-22, and the third set, 25-14 to win the title.
The Maroons will play St. Anthony in the Newton Regional semifinals on Tuesday. A box score was not made available by press time.
Windsor falls in finals
Arthur-Lovington took Windsor three sets, after Windsor won the first set, and won the match to end Windsor's season in the regional championship.
Windsor won the first set 25-23, but Arthur-Lovington came back and won the next two sets, 25-17 and 25-21, to win the title.
The two teams also played a three-set match last week, ending with the same result.
The loss ends Windsor's (14-16) season. A box score was not made available by press time.
