---- — While other teams are moving on in the Senior Legion district tournaments, Shelby County Posts 289/611/725 are still waiting to get theirs underway.The draw was released yesterday, with Mattoon grabbing the top seed on the Mattoon side of the tournament. Shelby County earned the second seed and a first-round bye. Shelby County will tkae on either Charleston Post 93 or Paris Post 211 at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Mattoon High School. The rest of the tournament will be played at Grimes Field. If Shelby County wins, they'll play Wednesday night at 5 p.m., but a loss would send them to the loser's bracket and a game Tuesday night at 7:45 p.m. Two teams from both the Mattoon pool and the Rantoul pool will advance to the tournament finals, beginning on July 26. The winner of those four teams will advance to the state tournament in Tremont from July 30 to Aug. 3. Rantoul's pool is made up of, in order of seeding, Rantoul Post 287, Danville Post 210, Pontiac Post 78, Piatt County, Macon County and Urbana.
