The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rockford, with the Rev. David J. Thies and Larry Yaw officiating Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Machensey Park. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Toledo United Methodist Church, 213 Madison St., Toledo. The family will greet friends for an hour preceding the service.
