Nora Niccum, 87, of Effingham died at 10:33 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Effingham, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, Effingham. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to ARC Community Support Systems.

Glenn S. Schoonover, 86, of Louisville died at 2:12 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial with military graveside rites will be in Orchard Hill Cemetery, Louisville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clay County Hospice or Clay County Genealogical Society.

Loutina Marie “Tina” Bartels, 85, of Sorento passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at 5:22 a.m. at Fair Oaks, Greenville.
The funeral was today at Perfetti Funeral Home, Sorento, with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery, located in Shoal Creek Township of Bond County.

Leona Alice Miller, 88, of Mount Prospect, formerly of Beecher City, died at 3:34 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Church Creek Nursing Home, Mount Prospect.

Doris Gehle, 79, of St. Peter, homemaker, died at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Evergreen Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Effingham.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, St. Peter, with the Rev. Bill Emrick officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Effingham. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Pagel Funeral Home, St. Peter, and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Memorials may be made to the church organ fund.
