EFFINGHAM — Gov. Pat Quinn today announced more than $14.5 million in capital investments for construction projects in Effingham, Jasper, Lawrence and Richland counties. The upgrades are part of Governor Quinn’s agenda to create jobs and drive Illinois’ economy forward.
“These construction projects will improve transportation safety and efficiency in the region,” Governor Quinn said. “Additionally, they will employ a number of construction workers, which will help the local economy, as well.”
The projects will be administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
