Teutopolis, Fourth grade, Mrs. Mette

Elle Blievernicht

My mom, Sandy Bloemer, deserves the Mother of the Year award for so many reasons. I think she deserves it because she is fearless and helpful. I love my mom!

My mom isn’t afraid of anything. She isn’t afraid of spiders, snakes, or bugs. Not even mice! She is the bravest person I’ve ever met!

My mother is so helpful. She teaches me violin, my sister piano, and helps my siblings and me with our homework. My mom also gets my brothers up for their job. My mom is the most caring person ever.

You won’t regret voting my mom for Mother of the Year. She is so brave and helpful!

Ellie Bloemer

My mother, Jodi Buehnerkemper, (soon Mother of the Year) was born in Naperville, IL, not Effingham. She ought to be Mother of the Year.

First of all, my mom is a very hard worker. She is around the house picking up toys, dusting, and washing things all day long. She says she never gets a break. Also, she is always helping me through things like homework, doing my chores, and hard things I don’t understand. Man, what a hard worker she is!

Another reason is because she is always happy, even if I do things wrong. My mom won’t get mad at me even if I don’t get an A+ on my test. Also, she is happy because she is always looking on the bright side. Last my mom stays calm if she does something wrong. Oh boy... she is always happy.

Mom is the best mom ever. Select her for Mother of the Year.

Cade Buehnerkemper

Do you know who should be Mother of the Year? Theresa Bushur would be the best choice. She is a wonderful mom.

To start with, my mom is very helpful. She helps clean the house and helps me with my homework problems. She’s even so helpful that she helps are family clean up our road! My mom also helps earn money for us. My mom is the most helpful person there is.

Another reason is that my mother teaches me a lot of things. She teaches me about homework when I don’t understand. My mom teaches me all about basketball. For example, she teaches me about my shot and how to set screens. After a sporting event she teaches me about what I did wrong so it can help get better. My mother teaches me about many things.

My mom, Theresa Bushur, should be the Mother of the Year. She teaches things and is very helpful. You should select my mother to be Mother of the Year.
