Teutopolis, Fourth grade, Mrs. Mette

TEUTOPOLIS — Who do you think should be Mother of the Year? I think my mom, Trisha Funneman, should be Mother of the Year. You should give this award to her.

The biggest reason why my mom should be Mother of the Year is because she is encouraging. She encourages me to do good at games. She also encourages me to get my homework done and not get many wrong on it. Keep is thinking of my mom being Mother of the Year.

Another reason is that she is helpful around the house or any where she helps out after family parties. She helps me practice for baseball and basketball in the summer. She is a helpful mom isn’t she?

I think my mom should be Mother of the Year. Pick my mom to win this award.

If you’re in need of a Mother of the Year, my mother, Sara Blickem, is the one. She should get this award because she is helpful and caring.

First of all, my mother should be Mother of the year because she is caring. She helps my brother and me with sports. She will also always bring me my stuff if I leave it at home. She is super supportive and kind and she will always be there for me.

Second of all, she is extremely helpful. She checks my homework, and when I have three or four wrong she helps me understand the problems. If I “forget” to make my bed, she does it. She slaves away all day to have a clean house. If you had to pick one mother, you should pick mine.

Please pick my mother for the Mother of the Year. She de?nitely deserves it.

Ross Blickem

My mom, Elaine Blievernicht, (soon known as Mother of the Year) is a great candidate. She is helpful and responsible.

To start with, my mom is helpful. She helps me with hair. For example, she puts my hair in a ponytail, a bun, or a braid. She helps me when l’m hurt by putting a band aid on it. She helps me pick out an outfit when we are shopping by saying that something looks cute. She also helps me with homework by doing it with me, but most of all she helps cheer me up when I’m sad.

Most importantly, she is responsible. She cleans to make sure the house is spotless. She cooks to make sure we have food on the table. She makes sure we have clothes for school. She takes care of her family’s needs. She also tells the truth. She is a very responsible mom.

In conclusion, my mom is great. Select her for Mother of the Year!!
