Three Chicks and a Stage, Effingham Performance Center and more than 70 area people come together to bring the funny "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" to the Effingham Performance Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9.
Tickets are on sale at www.TheEPC.org or at the EPC Box Office, 1325 Outer Belt West, Effingham and by phone at 217-540-2788. Box office hours are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and until curtain time on performance days. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children age 12 and under.
Young Beth Bradley narrates "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," the hilarious story of her brother Charlie, her mother Grace and her father Bob trying to put on the annual church Christmas pageant, despite having to include the Herdman Family kids in the cast. They are perhaps the meanest, nastiest, most inventively awful kids in the history of the world. Come watch the Herdmans meet the Christmas story in a head-on collision.

Three Chicks and a Stage is a not-for-profit theater company in residence at the Effingham Performance Center. Jeanne Wolff, Carol Hourigan and Monique Hortenstine founded Three Chicks and a Stage in 2008.
