TEUTOPOLIS — Teutopolis High School takes a step back in time with this year’s fall musical “Back to the 80s.” Performance dates are Oct. 23 through Oct. 25. Tickets are on sale now at the high school office.
“Back to the 80s” tells the story of the senior class of William Ocean High School which graduated in the 1980s as remembered and seen through the eyes of Corey Palmer, who is now 30-something. The then 17-year-old Corey is madly in love with his next-door neighbor, Tiffany Houston, one of the coolest girls in school. Tiffany barely notices Corey as she is too busy trying to get the attention of Michael Feldman, the good-looking athlete. Meanwhile, the teachers are having issues of their own. Mr. Crocker and Miss Brannigan have been dating and Mr. Crocker just found out about some issues Miss Brannigan had in the past. Will their relationship be able to survive this hurdle? Will Corey finally get the girl of his dreams? Will prom night be a success? Will Feargal McFerrin III ever get a date? To find out all these answers and many more, all you have to do is take a journey “Back to the ’80s.”
