Dorothy Mae Finks, 64, of Toledo, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at home.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at First Southern Baptist Church, Greenup. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Mullen Cemetery, rural Montrose. Barkley Funeral Chapel is assisting the family. Memorials can be to the First Southern Baptist Church 101 W. US Hwy 40 in Greenup. Dorothy was born in Mattoon, on April 29, 1948, the daughter of William G. and Rea (Lawhorn) Bueker. She married Lonnie Finks on June 18, 1966, at the Shumway United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her loving and caring husband; daughters, Cynthia Finks and special friend Ron Haack of Jewett, Tammy husband William Robinson of Greenup, Monica husband Garrie Carlen of Greenup and Christina husband Mark Gerhardt of Jewett; brothers, Lonnie wife Judy Bueker of Jewett and John Bueker of Ina; sister, Donna Abbott and special friend Rick Morecraft of Toledo; grandchildren, Joseph and Jesse Abbott, Preston, Austin, Dalton, Miranda, Michael, Isaac and Eli Robinson, Kyle and Kendra Carlen, Morgan, Megan and Logan Gerhardt.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents.
Dorothy was a homemaker and worked at the Bumble Bee Boutique in Toledo for 25 years. Dorothy's most treasured thing in her life was her family; she loved her quilting and her flower gardens. Dorothy was something special to a lot of people and she will be missed by all.
