---- — Deloris J. Hackman, 80, of Trilla, passed away at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, surrounded by her family.
As per Mrs. Hackman’s wishes a public graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Beals Cemetery, Trilla, with the Rev. Jim Maroon officiating. Deloris was born Aug. 26, 1933, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Troy and Naomi (Wheatherford) Anderson. She married Paul H. Hackman, May 22, 1976, in Lerna. Mrs. Hackman was a housewife and a homemaker, a cancer survivor, a member of the Good Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Trilla. She was a retired seamstress, retiring from the Kern Manufacturing Company of Neoga.
Mrs. Hackman leaves her husband, Paul H. Hackman of Trilla; seven children, Amy Kinnaman of Trilla, Dick McKay and wife, Debbie of Charleston, Jim McKay of Houston, Pat Sweet of Fairfield, Iowa, Brad Hackman and wife, Susan of Raleigh, N.C., Doug Hackman of Mattoon, and Cheryl Crowdson and husband, Greg of Sullivan; one sister, Carolyn Schumann and husband, Hugo of St. Charles, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hackman was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, George and William Anderson.
