Shirley Kincaid, 72, of Effingham, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, June 5, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Red Brush Christian Church, Louisville, with the Rev. Jeff Michael officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be in Red Brush Cemetery. Services are in care of Hall Funeral Chapel in Effingham. Condolences may be left online at www.hallfuneralchapel.com. Memorials may be made to the family for her granddaughter Cammy’s care.
Shirley was born on June 12, 1941, in Louisville, the daughter of Noll “Pete” and Gladys Marts Bailey. She was a cashier at Walmart in Effingham and a member of the Red Brush Christian Church in Louisville.
Survivors include three children, Doug Sharp, Cheryl (Jim) Brian and Rusty Sharp, all of Effingham; stepdaughter, Sherri (Chuck) Bourseois of Effingham; grandchildren, Anthony Brian, Tyler Sharp, Justin Brian, Sean Bourseois, Mike Sharp, and Cambria “Cammy” Sharp; great-granddaughter, Aliyah Corder; great-grandson, Damien Askew; four brothers, Bud Bailey and Dwayne (Sharon) Bailey of Louisville, Sam Baily of Flora, and Don (Charlene) Bailey of Edgewood; four sisters, Lois (Glen) Lewis of Louisville, Ruth (Willis) Busby of Effingham, Mary Heiden of Tucson, Arizona, and Marilyn (Jim) Hagrelius of Princeton; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Velma Bailey; and granddaughter, Desiree.
