---- — Leo H. Volk, 74, of Ingraham, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wendelin, with the Rev. Mark Stec officiating. Burial with full military rites will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Wendelin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice or Hospice of Southeastern Illinois. He was born April 21, 1940, in Jasper County, the son of Henry Volk and Mary Kuenstler. He was in the Army Reserve from 1961 to 1967. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Olney and American Legion in Ste. Marie.He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wendelin. He married Annette Kocher Nov. 11, 1963 in Olney.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Volk of Ingraham; daughter, Mary Ann Brown and husband Charles of Sullivan; son, Steven Volk and wife Theresa of Newton; daughter, Donna Geisel and husband Tim of Bluffton, Ind.; daughter, Kristi Sandschafer and husband Eric of Newton; 14 grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Christina, Paul Brown, Mareah, Henry, Aaron Volk, Matthew, Mark, Elizabeth Geisel, Virginia, Amy, Victor, Gregory Sandschafer; brother, Raymond Volk and wife Dolores of Tuscola; and brother, Herman Volk and wife Mary of Claremont.

He was preceded in death by parents, and siblings, Lawrence Volk, Josephine Kocher and Bernard Volk.
