---- — Donald Eugene Stanley, 58, of Marble Hill, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at his home near Marble Hill. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Jackson, with the Rev. Greg Burns officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, April 19, 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to service time Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery, Jackson. He was born Feb. 4, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Donald Lee and Clarice C. Sander Stanley. Eugene was a former member of the Iona Baptist Church at Oriole and attended Harmony Congregational Methodist Church near Marble Hill. He also enjoyed going to car shows and had a love of motorcycles. He was a member of the River City Rodders Club in Cape Girardeau. Eugene worked for Lenco, Ceramo and was a truck driver for C&G and Old Dominion. Survivors include his loving companion of many years, Barbara Steele; daughter, Mindy Jo (Darin Roberts) Stanley of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two grandchildren, MaKayla Newman and Chase Roberts, both of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; five sisters, Donna (Thomas) Watson of Bismarck, Mo., Emma Pinkley and special friend, Tim Jokerst, of New Offenburg, Mo., Melody (Gus) Harmon of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Linda Coomer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and April Foeste of Bismarck; three brothers, Timothy (Kathy) Stanley of Bonne Terre, Mo., Bill (Christina) Coomer Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Matthew Foeste of Illinois; two special aunts, Shirley Patrick of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Marie Brown of Neely’s Landing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
