---- — Robert (Bob) Thomas Johnson passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Kluthe Center, Beecher City. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Memorials may be made to Gospel Assembly Church, Effingham, or to Bob’s friends, the needy people in Jamaica that he loved. Arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Beecher City. Bob was born on April 26, 1951, in Milwaukee, the son of Thomas Rand and May L. Johnson. He married Betty J. Goodman-Donaldson on April 27, 2002. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, accomplished musician and proud patriot, as well as a dear friend and companion to those that ever met him. He had an imagination and the best sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; sons, Ben (Karen) Johnson and Robbie Johnson; daughter, Sarah Johnson; stepchildren, Aaron Heaton, Carrie Tooley, Jeremiah Donaldson and Elijah Donaldson; sisters, Kate (Bob) Ball and Tara (Chris) Wood; brother, Tom (Barb) Johnson; and 12 grandchildren who were his playmates and best friends, along with many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents.
