Jeanne Eloise Coleman, 67, of Altamont died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clare Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Simburger officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont. Jeanne was born on Thursday, April 4, 1946, in Effingham, to Lee and Erma (Parks) Vogel. She married Larry Coleman in 1963. Jeanne had worked at A&H Implement for the last 19 years. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, Altamont.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Coleman of Altamont, and Angie Coleman of Channahon; brothers, Charles Vogel and his wife, Virginia, of Funkhouser, and Robert Vogel and his wife, Judy, of Altamont; sisters, Nora Ellison of Niceville, Fla., Ruth Vogel of Madrid, Iowa, and Rose Sutton of Effingham; four grandsons, Dustin Lee Brown, Matthew Eugene Brown, Patrick Lynn Brown and Kyle Andrew Husted; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael and Alan; and twin daughters in infancy, Connie Lynn and Kathleen Sue; and daughter, Sarah Brown.
