---- — Geraldine Gloria Dust, 90, of Effingham, formerly of Charleston passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, at home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services for Geraldine will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Hall Funeral Chapel in Effingham. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Effingham. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice. Online condolences may be left at www.hallfuneralchapel.com.
Geraldine was born June 26, 1923, in Rinard, the daughter of James Roy and Mary Glenn (McGrew) Kessel. She married Ralph Henry Dust on Jan. 18, 1947, in Flora and he preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 1970. She was a homemaker and member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Charleston.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra (David) Silcott of Charleston, Tamara (David) Poor of Chehalis, Wash., and Lisa (Mark) Spaulding of Lakewood, Wash. Grandchildren, Gloria (Mark) Wildbur, Frederick (Tabatha) Waldhoff, Laura (Jeremy) Hickenbottom, Lesley Waldhoff, Julia (Nicolas) Stoneburner, Santana Silcott, Audra Poor, Lee (Talita) Poor, Mara Poor, Veronica Spaulding, Mary Spaulding, Elizabeth Spaulding. Great grandchildren, Alex J., Morgan, Austin, and Bryce Breer, Brylee and Macci Wildbur, Sydney Waldhoff, Teja and Brianna Hickenbottom, Timarion, Taylor, Devon and Branden Waldhoff, Keylee, Nicolas and Alexus Stoneburner, Giovana and Isaac Poor. Sisters: Vera Hendricks of Enfield and Joyce Moore of Mcleansboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
