Dolores was born May 25, 1921, in Ste. Marie, the daughter of Charlie and Carrie Keller. She married Andrew Francis Grunloh on July 26, 1941. Together they had 10 children before he passed away on July 1, 1956. Dolores raised the children on the family farm in Green Creek. Later, she was married to Leo Kaufmann from April 6, 1975, until his death in 1995.

She was blessed with 32 grandchildren and 71 great-grandchildren. Her second passion, as anyone who knew her well could tell you, was her love for a good game of cards.

Her children are Jim and Diane Grunloh, Mary and Paul Koester, Linda and John Barry, John and Betty Grunloh, Rose and Tom Niebrugge, Chuck and Geri Grunloh, Kathy and Randy Meyer, Paul and June Grunloh, and Andrew and Helen Grunloh.
