Annabell Fulk, 74, of Sycamore, formerly of St. Charles, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Kishwaukee Medical Center in DeKalb.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Moss-Norris Funeral Home, St. Charles. Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park, Batavia. She was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Aurora, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Thiltgen) Fairbanks. She was united in marriage to Harold Fulk Dec. 4, 1956, in Boonville, Mississippi.
Annabell was raised on a farm in West Chicago, the oldest of 10 children. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, but most of all giving her creations away as gifts. Annabell loved music especially her many years with her husband at the bluegrass festival. She was employed at Burgess Norton Manufacturing in Geneva for 20 years retiring in 1994. Following retirement, Annabell and her husband moved to Mason and recently moved back closer to family.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Julie) Fulk and James (Lois) Fulk; two grandchildren, James (Michelle) Fulk and Robert Fulk; many great-grandchildren; four sisters, Charlene Thompson, Evelyn VanLeeuwen, Elizabeth Fairbanks and Irene Fairbanks; five brothers, Charles (Pamela) Fairbanks, Bill (Lyn) Fairbanks, Michael (Denise) Fairbanks, Arthur (Sandlee) Fairbanks and James Fairbanks; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, John Fulk.
