Anna Mae Nosbisch, 88, of Teutopolis, joined her husband in eternal life at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Effingham Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with a 7 p.m. parish wake service. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the funeral Mass Wednesday morning at the church in Teutopolis. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Anna Mae was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Teutopolis, the daughter of Joseph and Cecelia (Probst) Kroeger. She married Adolph N. Nosbisch on May 21, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1978. Anna Mae was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis and St. Francis Council of Catholic Women.
Anna Mae is survived by children, Connie Nosbisch of Effingham, Marlene (Dave Nowosielski) Nosbisch of Woodlawn, Karen (Frank) Mulholland of Shelbyville, Sharon Nosbisch of Sharpsburg Maryland, Ken (Shannon) Nosbisch of Dieterich, and Linus Nosbisch of Teutopolis; sisters, Dolores Koeberlein and Gertrude Alldredge, both of Effingham; 11 grandchildren, Chris, Alyssa, Sarah, Laura, Kelvin, Ryan, Rachel, Shawn, Amy, Daniel and Lee; and six great-grandchildren, Afton, Amelia, Claire, Max, Lilyan, and Cody.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Adolph; brothers, Albert and Clem; sisters, Clara and Leona.
