---- — Doris I. Willenborg, 85, of Effingham, passed away at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Effingham.
Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church with a CCW rosary at 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Bauer Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Doris was born Aug. 1, 1928, in Pana, the daughter of Monte and Nora (Warren) Gaughan. She married Albert A. Willenborg on Feb. 14, 1953, and he preceded her in death in 1981. Doris was an elementary school teacher. She was also a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham, St. Anthony CCW and Cursillo.
Doris is survived by six sons, Paul (Debra) of Effingham, Edward Michael (Joan) of Montrose, David J. of Sigel, Dan (Margie), James and Albert, all of Effingham; four daughters, Barbara (Faber) Fairbanks of Effingham, Ruth (Leonard) Westendorf of Teutopolis, Mary (Steve) Deters of Teutopolis, and Deborah Willenborg of Champaign; sister, Sister Charlotte Gaughan, SSND of Bridgeton, Mo.; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, John.
