---- — Jayce David Wright, 20, of Beecher City, passed away at 8:55 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Beecher City, with Sid Hutchison officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Loudon Township, Fayette County. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be left at www.lockartgreenfuneralhome.com.
Jayce was born Nov. 10, 1992, in Effingham, the son of Trevon Glosser and Sherry Wright. He graduated from Beecher City High School in the Class of 2011. He loved basketball, baseball and hockey. He was a proud fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Blackhawks. He worked for Cumberland Trail Growers in St. Elmo, and Ray’s Sanitation in Altamont. Jayce enjoyed music and played bass guitar in his band called “Forgetting January.” They played at many events and venues in the area.
Surviving are his mother, Sherry Wright of Beecher City; father, Trevon Glosser of Charleston; brothers, Dallas Lane Glosser and Blaze Aiden James Glosser, both of Charleston; grandfathers, James Leo Wright of Beecher City and James Glosser of Hidalgo; grandmother, Diane (David) Nees of Greenup; aunts and uncles, Deronda Wright, Wendy Wright, Cathy Wright, Rusty Wright and friend Holly, Marvin Wright and wife Catrinna, Jhonda Pickens and husband Rick; several nieces, nephews and cousins; girlfriend, Dana Reed and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Glapha Wright.
