Betty L. Wiseley, 78, of Toledo, died at 8:07 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkley Funeral Chapel, Toledo. Burial will be in Janesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Betty J. Bly, 69, of Perryville, Mo., formerly of Altamont, died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at her home.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today, March 23, at Union Cemetery, Altamont, with the Rev. Willie Deuel officiating. Memorials may be made to Southeast Hospice or for family use. Betty was born on Friday, May 21, 1943, in Pickneyville, to Hosea and Wilma (Gruber) Taylor. She married Thomas Bly on July 31, 1975, in Decatur, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 13, 2002. Betty was a retired dispatcher, having worked for the Effingham County, and Perry County, Mo., Sherriff’s departments.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Hunter of Riverside, Calif.; her daughters, Peggy Lappe of Perryville, Mo., Tami (Scott) Wacker of Hudson, and Amy (Mike) Koester of Effingham; her brother, Richard Taylor of Collinsville; her six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, David in infancy; a brother; four sisters; and a sister in infancy.
Alan C. Maxwell, 67, of Beecher City, passed away at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013.
