Connie L. Lowrance, 53, of Effingham, passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Cremation rites will be accorded as per the wishes of the family and a Celebration of Life memorial service will be at 6:45 p.m. Monday at Strasburg Baptist Church, with the Rev. Leroy Tucker officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday at the church. Services are in care of Hall Funeral Chapel, Effingham. Connie was born Feb. 9, 1960, in Branson, Mo., the daughter of Darold A. Sr. and Imojean (Atchison) Miller. She married Ron Lowrance on July 6, 1992, in Effingham and he survives. She was a member of Strasburg Baptist Church, and worked as an account executive at Yellowbook for 12 years. Connie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, nana, sister and friend who lived her life exceptionally selfless. Her happiness was predicated by the happiness of those she loved and cared for.
Survivors include her husband, Ron; children, Hope Marion of Stewardson, Callie (Craig) Barbee of Olney, Chelsi (Bradley) Roley of Effingham, Jeremy (Christina) Lowrance of Peoria, Jaclyn (Dennis) Merkley of Peoria, and Kiley (Austin) Ferenc of Altamont; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Darold Miller of Sheldon and Dennis Miller of Effingham; sister, Deb (Jim) Prusa of Effingham; father and mother in- law, Bob and Ruth Lowrance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pam Miller; and granddaughter, Aria Roley.
