---- — Dolores M. Stockman, 80, of Effingham, passed away at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Effingham. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Effingham. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church with a 6:30 p.m. C.C.W. rosary. Johnson Funeral Home, Effingham, is assisting the family with arrangements. Dolores was born on Nov. 13, 1932, in Effingham, the daughter of Anthony and Anna (Aulenbrock) Niebrugge. She married Bede F. Stockman on June 23, 1962, in Effingham and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2010. Dolores was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She provided a loving home as a daycare provider to many children in the Effingham area. Dolores was a loving mother, parent, and grandmother.
Dolores is survived by her children, Steve C. (Jeanlyn) Stockman and Richard J. Stockman, both of Effingham, and Laura A. (Jeff) Sasser of Columbia, Mo.; grandchildren, Bayleigh Stockman, Caroline Sasser and Kate Sasser; brothers, Lawrence (Dorothy) Niebrugge and Anthony (Barb) Niebrugge, both of Green Creek; sisters, Johanna Spracklen of Shelbyville, Martha Muehlenfeld of St. Louis, and Agatha Niebrugge of Donaldson, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Monica; and five brothers.
