Jessica James, 29, of Effingham, formerly of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with Eric Garlick officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. Casual attire is requested. Jessica was born on Aug. 31, 1984, in Effingham, the daughter of Carl Alex James and Brenda K. Fulford. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 2003 and attended Lake Land College. Jessica worked for John Boos & Co. in Effingham. She loved her music and her pets.
She is survived by her grandparents, Carl and Betty Fulford of Shelbyville; sister, Sara James of Windsor; uncle, Steve Fulford and wife Rene of Shelbyville; niece, Aubrie Dilley of Windsor; nephew, Carter Dilley of Windsor; and cousins, Brittany Strohl and her son, Ky Strohl both of Shelbyville, and Kyle Strohl and wife Nikki of Olney.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Fulford Parrett; uncle, Chuck Fulford; and aunt, Kathy Fulford.
