---- — Doris Muhs, 64, of Olney, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wendelin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wendelin. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Wendelin, with the Rev. Mark Stec officiating. Memorials may be made to Richland County Humane Society. She was born April 10, 1949, in Wendelin, the daughter of Phillip Uebinger and Mary (Seiler). Doris attended Clay City High School and Voyle’s School of Cosmetology and then became a hairdresser for several years. She was then employed at Ainsbrooke, Marwi, and Champion Labs. Doris enjoyed camping, cooking and walking with her dogs. She took pleasure in spending time with her nieces and nephews. She married Darold Muhs Nov. 22, 1971, at Holy Cross Church in Wendelin. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Wendelin.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Darold Muhs of Olney; sister, Una Kocher and husband Carl of Claremont; brother, Jerry Uebinger and wife Judy of Eldridge, Mo.; brother, Fred Uebinger and wife MaDonna of Ingraham; brother, Ed Uebinger and wife Karen of Johannesburg, Mich.; brother, Art Uebinger and wife Terri of Wendelin; sister, Jane Wingert and husband Mark of Olney; brother-in-law, Donald Muhs and wife Mickey of Newton; brother-in-law, Gary Muhs and wife Tamy of Wadesville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Judy Blackwell Uebinger; and greatnephew, Brett Belvin.
