---- — Dorita Helen Haywood, 54, of Belvidere, formerly of Altamont, died on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 30, at Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont, with Rev. William Emrick officiating. Burial will follow at Beecher City Cemetery. Dorita was born on Thursday, Aug. 6, 1959 in Canton, Ohio, to Orville Wayne and Shirley (Newvine) Haywood. She was affiliated with the Lutheran Church.
Dorita is survived by her son, Jeremy Kereszturi; daughters, Candice Simpson of Hampshire, Donna Gullion (Ryan) of St. Elmo, and Debra Hope (Terry) of Bardstown, Ky.; stepdaughter, Tammy Simpson of Asher, Ky.; brothers, Joseph Haywood (Kim) of Tarboro, N.C., and Kenneth Haywood (Teresa) of Effingham; sisters, Lorita Aldana Haywood of Effingham, Janetta (Stephanie) Broussard of Lake Charles, La., Dedra (Sandra) Linn of Effingham, Stacey (Tony) Corca of Effingham, and Susan (Jason) Martin of Altamont; 13 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Orville Wayne Haywood Jr.; niece, Jessica Warner; and nephew, Johnathon Warner.
