Steven D. Temple, 56, of Wildwood, Fla., formerly of Windsor, went to be with Jesus at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014.

Steven was born Nov. 22, 1957, in Great Lakes, the son of the late Gordon Temple and Jean Dugan. He married Lisa Henry Dec. 17, 1992, in Vandalia. Steven’s hobbies were working on his hot rods and taking his family to Coles County Speedway. He loved car shows, swap meets, riding his bike around and having family get togethers.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa of Wildwood, Fla.; mother and stepfather, Jean and Dennis Henry of Effingham; stepmother Emma Temple of Shumway; children, Melissa Reed (husband Gerald) of Strasburg, Brandon Ingram (wife Toshia) of Wildwood, Fla., Britani Ingram of Mattoon, Shelbie Temple of Effingham, Shawn Hepner of Teutopolis, Miranda Temple of Wildwood, Fla., and Feather Temple of Wildwood, Fla.; grandchildren, KaLeene, Zachary, MacKenzie and Paige Reed of Strasburg, Chesney Simmons of Effingham, Dakota, Aden and Madalynn Ingram of Wildwood, Fla., Austin and Carson Hepner of Teutopolis, Bradley Lucky of Missouri and Daetyn Wilborn of Mattoon; sisters, Marilyn Dudley (late husband John) of Effingham, Diana Fryer (husband Steve) of Sullivan and Donna Gadd (husband Mike) of Effingham; mother and father-in-law, Barb and Tom Kralman of Teutopolis; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Temple; grandparents, Donald and Lillian Dugan and George and Ruby Temple; brother-in-law, John Dudley; and cousin, Chris Barker.
