---- — Russell E. McKittrick, 89, of Shelbyville, passed away at 1:19 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2013, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with the Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of the service Wednesday. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Price Cemetery, near Herrick. Memorials may be made in Russell’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association. Russell was born Sept. 9, 1923, in Shelby County, the son of Lloyd and Edith Goddard McKittrick. He married Betty Price on Jan. 30, 1948, and she passed away Feb. 8, 2010. He was employed at the Oliver Corporation in Shelbyville for many years and later retired from Crossroads Press in Effingham.

Surviving are daughters, Karen Gordon and husband, Ben, of Shelbyville, and Dana Fox and husband, Steve, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Mark Gordon and wife, Colleen, of Phoenix, Lisa Randolph and husband, Rob, of Shelbyville, Tisha Armstrong and husband, Dan, of Mt. Auburn, and Jason Fox and wife, Colleena, of Shelbyville; great-grandchildren, Devon Randolph of Shelbyville, Kaylee Randolph of Shelbyville, Nina Gordon of Phoenix, Kayla Newlin and husband, Darren, of Hidalgo, Trent Horton of Macon, Trevor Horton of Macon, Shauna Danneberger and husband, Craig, of Shelbyville, Seth Klauser of Shelbyville, Stuart Klauser of Shelbyville, Taylor Armstrong of Hicks, La., Tyler Armstrong of Mt. Auburn, Megan Knearem of Shelbyville, and Madison Fox of Findlay; great-great-grandchildren, Cali Randolph, Isabelle Klauser and Emmett Klauser; sister-in-law, Maureen McKittrick of Shelbyville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; parents; grandson, Jordan Fox; and brothers, Harold “Short” McKittrick and Carl McKittrick.
